IP Phone or Analog Phone?
There are two types of telephone line
services in Japan (provided by NTT).
One is standard analog phone line
service (traditional one), and another
one is
IP phone service (named Hikari Denwa)
based on NTT’s Flet’s Hikari optical
fiber service. You can expect the
same type of phone numbers such as
03-XXXX-XXXX. On condition that you
have Flet’s Hikari optical fiber service,
you can expect lower monthly fee and
calling rate compared to standard
analog
phone service.
Please be informed that you will need
to check with your security company
(SECOM etc.) if your residential security
system is installed for analog phone
system or IP phone system.
As for International calling discount
service, we have many variations and
please feel free to contact us anytime.
